Class Four/Five

Year 4/5 is taught by Mrs Ambrose (Monday-Wednesday) and Mrs Drewery (Thursday -Friday).

During the year in Year 4/5, some of the exciting topics studied as part of the creative curriculum include; the study of Space, investigating the history of Settle and learning about Planet Earth and the Ancient Greeks

For the Year Fives, one of the most important and anticipated events is the annual residential visit, which this year will take place in the Summer in the Peak District.

In summary, Year 4/5 is about developing pupil confidence and independence.  It is about having fun but working hard.  We consider it a perfect preparatory year for the challenges and expectations of Upper Key Stage Two.
